About the Journal

The Journal of Arid Zone Economy (JAZE), ISSN: 117 – 5753, is a bi-annual, blind peer-
review journal published in June and December every year by Department of
Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria.
JAZE publishes original and quality manuscripts in the fields of Social and
Management Sciences and related disciplines.
The journal considers for publication original theoretical or empirical manuscripts rooted on sound quantitative or qualitative analytical techniques.

Scope of the Journal
JAZE covers but not limited to issues in economics, sustainable growth and
development, accounting, banking and finance, Islamic economics, public policy,
entrepreneurship, digital economy, energy and resource economics, environmental
economics, agricultural economics poverty and gender inequality.
